Development of Compositional Solver Module for Large-Scale Reservoir Simulation
Goal
Develop a large-scale, high-efficiency numerical simulation methods, algorithms, and corresponding code modules that meet the needs of reservoir simulation, apply them to the new generation petroleum reservoir simulatior, HiSim; complete simulation on PC and massively parallel computing environments efficiently; obtain consistent simulation results with commercial software and meet or exceed international level in terms of scale and efficiency. Meanwhile, the project requires a large amount of parallel programming work and the research team of party-B should seek assistance from software development teams with professional backgrounds in reservoir numerical simulation to complete the programming and validation using practical problems.
